Modular Homes and Buildings

Modular construction is the process of fabricating various types of buildings in a controlled environment, away from the building’s destination site. Once completed, the buildings are then transported to and installed at their intended location.

CORCAN utilizes a mix of both traditional and new techniques when producing our modular buildings. In addition to computer assisted design (CAD) and computer assisted manufacturing (CAM), CORCAN Modular Homes and Buildings utilize much of the same traditional materials and techniques used in traditional stick-built construction. However, CORCAN optimizes on those processes by producing in a highly controlled and predictable environment. This process ensures that all CORCAN modular homes and buildings are built to the highest quality standards that meet or exceed all National and Provincial building codes.

CORCAN modular homes and buildings have been used in a wide variety of applications including residential housing, permanent and temporary workforce accommodation, commercial and office space, day care centres, schools and detention centres. Whether you already have your own design or require assistance creating one, it is our goal to build your modular home or building to the highest quality standard. We also have a helpful list of standard options that can help get you get started envisioning your new modular home or building. Take a look at some of our past modular homes and building projects.
